My year 4 class have been going to yoga classes since September and they thoroughly enjoy going! They are keen to show their postures and yoga moves in our other PE lessons, and we displayed their abilities during a recent class assembly. They particularly love the cool down session where Miss Power tickles them with a scarf! 5 of my children also take part in a smaller group session; this has had an impact on their behaviour. They come back into class calmer and more relaxed. Miss Power’s yoga sessions are enthusiastic and all inclusive; she supports children on an individual basis and uses positive praise throughout the session.
Fantastic yoga teacher whom my 8 year old adores! Siobhan has a wonderful way with the children and has made yoga a very enjoyable form of exercise for them. My daughter cannot wait for each Friday’s class.
The children love going to yoga sessions with Siobhan! She makes her sessions incredibly fun and they are accessible to all the children, including those with a range of needs. Yoga sessions offer us the ability to give targeted support for motor skills, self-esteem and confidence, and the ability for children to regulate their emotions and calm themselves down.
Attending Siobhan’s mother and baby yoga session was truly an invaluable experience. She asserted a wonderful calmness around the room and even when some of the children were acting up she never made you feel embarrassed, she just embraced it and tried to diffuse the situation. As an added bonus we were actually able to participate in a wonderful yoga session and bond with our little ones by transcending the spiritual element across to them. I will 100% be attending again soon!
Amazing lessons on the beach in Goa. Was great to feel so comfortable to ask questions and learn more about yoga whilst also doing a brilliant practice. Siobhan has a lovely warm energy and I would recommend her yoga to everyone.
